The John Ware Institute (JWI)is a Canadian non-profit focused on increasing the supply of BIPOC directors for agencies, boards and commissions and strengthening governance in BIPOC led civil organizations. JWI Fellows will participate in the Chartered Director Program and in interviews, surveys and focus groups where JWI Founder Dr. Ufodike and his co-researchers will be exploring their experiences as Black directors and executives and providing mentoring and board placement services.
