Audit Committee Certified Program
Specialized Directors Education Program
This program enables you to perform effectively on board audit committees. It is taught in two sequential modules.
Covering compensation, strategy, and risk, you’ll explore audit committee charters and processes. You’ll gain an understanding of the specific roles of committee members and how to enhance the quality of audits. As the e-learning component this module can be completed at your leisure prior to arriving for the Audit Simulation.
Audit Simulation—Module 2
Covering committee mandate, process, and performance, you’ll collaborate with peers to explore risk-management processes and how risk relates to the audit committee. You’ll discover how character is the foundation for success, emphasizing behavioural and relational aspects of board committee work. This module is our board simulation module for the specialized audit program that uses actors in some sessions to offer an interactive learning experience. The Audit Simulation module is on-site residential.
