  • Advisory Boards and Effective Decision-Making in a Complex World

    “Don’t wait to establish and reap the benefits of an advisory board to support your SME business,” says The Directors College Faculty’s Colleen Fleming. In her experience, an advisory board can support decision-making and increase innovation and productivity in complex domains. “I often hear SME leaders say, ‘I don’t have the time for an advisory board,’” muses Fleming. “I would suggest that forming an advisory board will improve leadership decision-making, reduce stress, and ultimately save time.” Read on to learn more about Fleming’s recent experience of starting an advisory board for a non-profit sector initiative.
