Congratulations to the graduates of The Directors College* Human Resources and Compensation Committee (HRCC) Program. These graduates have successfully completed the HRCC Program and rigorous individual exam, to be granted the privilege to use the official mark Human Resources and Compensation Committee Certified (H.R.C.C.C)*

The HRCC Program was developed and is delivered in partnership with the Human Resources Professionals Association (HRPA). This unique education program, tailored to the needs of both directors and senior corporate officers, provides insight into the role of the Board Compensation Committee. Mr. Robin Henry, C.Dir., H.R.C.C.C.
Human Resources Manager, Aboriginal Healing Foundation


Robin Henry is from Whitehorse Yukon and is of Vuntut Gwitch’in and Tlingit ancestry. He grew up in Vancouver and while there, worked for many Aboriginal organizations including the Union of BC Indian Chiefs, United Native Nations and Kekinow Native Housing Society. Mr. Henry worked his way “up the ranks” and held the position of Executive Director when he left Kekinow in 1995 to complete his education. Robin also served on many volunteer boards and advisory committees in several different capacities, including Board Director, Secretary, Treasurer and President. He moved to Ottawa in 1995 to complete his university degree and graduated from the University of Ottawa with a Bachelor of Social Sciences (Political Science) in 1999. More recently, Mr. Henry achieved the designation of Certified Human Resources Professional (CHRP). Robin has been employed with the Aboriginal Healing Foundation as their Human Resources Manager since 1999. He works directly with senior management in creating policy, and providing advice and recommendations in all matters related to the human resources function. Robin brings his years of expertise to his current role as a Board Director of the National Centre for First Nations Governance, which was created to increase the governance capacity of First Nations peoples and communities across Canada.
