These graduates have successfully completed the HRCC Program and rigorous individual exam, to be granted the privilege to use the official mark Human Resources and Compensation Committee Certified (H.R.C.C.C)*

The HRCC Program was developed and is delivered in partnership with the Human Resources Professionals Association (HRPA). This unique education program, tailored to the needs of both directors and senior corporate officers, provides insight into the role of the Board Compensation Committee. Ms. Mary-Alice Vuicic
Executive Vice-President, Human Resources and Organizational Development, Shoppers Drug Mart

Mary-Alice Vuicic is currently the Executive Vice-President, Human Resources and Organizational Development with Shoppers Drug Mart. In this role, she participates on the executive committee and directs all human resources and community investment strategies and programs. Shoppers Drug Mart is a retail drug and healthcare services business with over $9 billion in annual revenue and over 45,000 employees system-wide. Shoppers is a publicly-traded Canadian company listed on the TMX under the stock symbol SC.

Mary-Alice has over 15 years of experience in senior human resources leadership positions in national and international organizations. Prior to joining Shoppers Drug Mart in 2007, Mary-Alice led the human resources function, as Vice President, People, at Wal-Mart Canada. She held this position from 2002 to 2007. Wal-Mart Canada has over 90,000 employees and annual revenue over $17 billion. She was also the Vice-President, Human Resources & Organizational Development, at Chapters/Indigo, from 1997 to 2002.

Mary-Alice has a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Windsor, where she grew up, and holds the Certified Human Resources Professional designation. She completed the Advanced Human Resources Certificate at Rotman School of Business, at the University of Toronto, and the Advanced Management Program at Harvard Business School.
