Canada’s Chartered Directors
The Directors College is pleased to present Canada’s Chartered Directors. The graduates listed below have completed The Chartered Director Program, an intensive individual examination, and have met the other requirements to become a Chartered Director (C.Dir.)
The Directors College and the Collège des administrateurs de sociétés (CAS) of Université Laval have a reciprocal agreement, whereby their respective designations – Chartered Director (C.Dir.) and Administrateur de sociétés certifié (ASC) are recognized as equivalent.

Mr. Paul Orsak, C.Dir.

A member of the Board of Directors of Agricore United since 2004, Paul currently serves on the Compensation & Pension Committee and is Chair of the Member & Community Relations Committee. Agricore United, a TSX listed company with 2800 employees and annual revenues of $3 Billion, is a diversified company with operations in agriculture crop inputs and services, grain merchandising, livestock production services and financial markets. Paul has a BSA degree from the University of Manitoba, and in 2006 he obtained his Chartered Director (C.Dir.) designation upon graduating from The Directors College, a cooperate governance course of study associated with the DeGroote School of Business at McMaster University and the Conference Board of Canada. Paul's involvement in agriculture industry for the last 25 years is varied and extensive. He has served on and chaired boards and committees of numerous industry organizations. Paul was appointed as a Public Governor of the Winnipeg Commodity Exchange in 1985, a position he held for 8 years. In addition to leadership roles, Paul also has spent time in a classroom teaching management and marketing. From 1987 to 1999 he owned and managed Marquette Grain, a grain marketing service and handling business. Paul has owned and operated a grain farming operation in Manitoba since 1977. Community involvement has included 4H Leader, Chairman of the Advisory Committee for School Leadership, and member of his parish's building committee. Paul and his family are avid skiers and are involved extensively in local musical and cultural events.
