Canada’s Chartered Directors
The Directors College is pleased to present Canada’s Chartered Directors. The graduates listed below have completed The Chartered Director Program, an intensive individual examination, and have met the other requirements to become a Chartered Director (C.Dir.)
The Directors College and the Collège des administrateurs de sociétés (CAS) of Université Laval have a reciprocal agreement, whereby their respective designations – Chartered Director (C.Dir.) and Administrateur de sociétés certifié (ASC) are recognized as equivalent.

Ms. Virginia McKenna, C.Dir.
Tax Lawyer, Virginia A. McKenna Professional Corporation

Virginia is a lawyer whose practice is restricted to income tax matters. She is a trusted business advisor to many entrepreneurs and families in business. She started her own practice in 2005 after years as a Tax Partner with PricewaterhouseCoopers. Virginia received her Honours B.A. from Wilfrid Laurier, her LL.B., from the University of Windsor and was called to the Bar of Ontario. She has completed the CICA In-Depth Tax Course and Harvard's Governing for Not for Profit Excellence. Virginia specializes in tax planning for Canadian private companies and their shareholders; estates and trusts; and, charitable giving. She is a regular speaker on matters of taxation to various professional organizations. She is a member of the Law Society of Upper Canada, the Canadian Bar Association, the Canadian Tax Foundation, and the Hamilton and Halton Law Associations. Virginia is a Member of the Board of Governors and Finance and Audit Committees of McMaster University. She is a Board member and Chair of the Governance Committee of the Hamilton Health Sciences Foundation. Virginia is the Past Board Chair of the Hamilton Community Foundation and St. Peter's Hospital and a former Trustee of the Hamilton Law Association.
