Canada’s Chartered Directors
The Directors College is pleased to present Canada’s Chartered Directors. The graduates listed below have completed The Chartered Director Program, an intensive individual examination, and have met the other requirements to become a Chartered Director (C.Dir.)
The Directors College and the Collège des administrateurs de sociétés (CAS) of Université Laval have a reciprocal agreement, whereby their respective designations – Chartered Director (C.Dir.) and Administrateur de sociétés certifié (ASC) are recognized as equivalent.

Mr. Miles Wilfred Voakes, C.Dir.
Chief Executive Officer, Rock Creek Apiaries & Honey Products
Wilfred Miles Voakes BSc, MBA, CMA. Currently Miles is the Senior Investment Manager for Nunavut Business Credit Corporation. His primary responsibilities include Government and Private sector relations, growing Nunavut's private business development and supervising NBCC's portfolio and its growth which includes monitoring and "After Care" for NBCC's current clients. Lastly, when he has time, he develops and maintains best practices/policies for NBCC's business operations and Board.
Prior to NBCC, Miles was a Partner & Director of Stone & Kann in Vancouver, a boutique consulting firm; he remains associated with the company as an advisor to the current Partners. Miles' main duties at Stone & Kann were to analyze the financial performance of S&M Businesses and to initiate various refinancing and optimization initiatives. Miles was responsible for the larger projects relating to the manufacturing, construction and aquaculture industries.
Miles received a BSc in Computer Science form the University of Western Ontario and a MBA form the Ivey School of business. He is also a certified member of the Ontario chapter of the CMA's of Canada.
In the past Miles has been very active on non-profit boards and currently is an advisor to a local Charity Organization and Daycare Society. Miles is a member of several private business and government funded organization boards in Iqaluit Nunavut.
Outside Professional life: As Miles lives in the Arctic circle he enjoys interaction with grassroots arts and culture, and many winter sports. Also because he lives in the Arctic Circle Miles enjoys traveling to exotic warm weather destinations, recreational SCUB and fair weather sailing.
