Canada’s Chartered Directors
The Directors College is pleased to present Canada’s Chartered Directors. The graduates listed below have completed The Chartered Director Program, an intensive individual examination, and have met the other requirements to become a Chartered Director (C.Dir.)
The Directors College and the Collège des administrateurs de sociétés (CAS) of Université Laval have a reciprocal agreement, whereby their respective designations – Chartered Director (C.Dir.) and Administrateur de sociétés certifié (ASC) are recognized as equivalent.

Mr. Peter Peill, C.Dir.
President & Chief Executive Officer, Lyndhurst

Peter Peill was born, raised, educated and currently headquartered in the Annapolis Valley Nova Scotia. Peter has 35 years of innovative experience in the agri-food industry. As C.E.O. of Lyndhurst Peter oversees all corporate operations including sister companies Minas Seed Co-op Ltd, and Soil and Sea Co-op Ltd. Peter is a Breeders Agent representing genetic material from Europe and U.S.A.
Under Peter's leadership Lyndhurst's collaborative research program has released varieties directly responsible for the Red Wheat Revolution in Eastern Canada. Lyndhurst maintains Select Pedigreed seed on 1400ac. Lyndhurst has defined the environmental stewardship standards in nutrient management, erosion prevention and for optimum economic yield of milling wheat, feed wheat, corn and soybean. Lyndhurst specializes in value- adding to Regional production by drying, cleaning, storage, packaging and marketing. Lyndhurst was host –site for Agri-Fest 04 and 06, a four-year project culminating in 18,000 visitors experiencing the innovation of the Agri-food industry in Atlantic Canada.
Peter is currently a board member with the Nova Scotia Co-op Council and member of the NSCC Governance committee . Also a member of the Tech committee of P.O.S., Saskatoon . and previously a board member with ACSBE (Acadia Center for Small Business and Entrepreneurship) , Nova Scotia Federation of Agriculture , SeCan, Canadian Seed Growers, East Coast Commodities and Crop Development Institute.
Peter with partner Helen savors the antics of children Adelheide, Nicholas and Rosslyn whose interests are swimming, sailing, diving and hiking.
