Canada’s Chartered Directors
The Directors College is pleased to present Canada’s Chartered Directors. The graduates listed below have completed The Chartered Director Program, an intensive individual examination, and have met the other requirements to become a Chartered Director (C.Dir.)
The Directors College and the Collège des administrateurs de sociétés (CAS) of Université Laval have a reciprocal agreement, whereby their respective designations – Chartered Director (C.Dir.) and Administrateur de sociétés certifié (ASC) are recognized as equivalent.

Dr. Douglas Peebles, C.Dir.
Professor, International Business Management, Conestoga College
Dr. Peebles is a professor in the International Business Management degree program at Conestoga College. He teaches courses in stakeholder management & governance, organizational learning, organizational improvement, consulting, and general management. Dr. Peebles also teaches ERP implementation in the MBA program at McMaster. Prior to Conestoga, Dr. Peebles was with SAP as a consultant, an educator, and as director of SAP's University Alliances program. Through SAP, Dr. Peebles developed broad, international experience , and worked with major corporations in Canada, the United States, and Europe. Prior to SAP, Dr. Peebles' experience includes management responsibilities in Information Systems and in Logistics.
Dr. Peebles received his PhD from Capella University, where his research focused on change management, leadership, and the strategic use of information technology in corporate governance. He also has an MBA from McMaster University, and an Honours BSc from the University of Western Ontario.
