The Directors College is pleased to present Canada’s Chartered Directors. The graduates listed below have completed The Chartered Director Program, an intensive individual examination, and have met the other requirements to become a Chartered Director (C.Dir.)

The Directors College and the Collège des administrateurs de sociétés (CAS) of Université Laval have a reciprocal agreement, whereby their respective designations – Chartered Director (C.Dir.) and Administrateur de sociétés certifié (ASC) are recognized as equivalent.

Mr. Jacques Levesque, C.Dir.
President and Chief Executive Officer, Transform Management Consulting Inc.


Jacques Levesque is a leading professional in the fields of governance, strategy development and implementation, business modeling, and executive coaching. Mr. Levesque brings over 23 years of senior management and Board of Director experience and expertise for the benefit of clients in his consulting practice. As the chief executive in both established and start-up companies, he led strategic planning processes, developed market strategies, re-structured organizations, implemented new technologies, initiated and completed large projects, established subsidiaries, completed mergers and successfully managed Board, shareholder, union and media relations, along with a significant size work force. His experience includes having been the President & CEO of Northern Telephone Limited, Entourage Technology Solutions and Genesis Telecom (Venezuela) from 1993 to 2001. He has also been actively involved in his community and has held various directorships on private and not-for-profit boards. His board experience includes being Chair and CEO of NorTel Mobility Limited and Chair of Horizon Connexions. Other directorships included: Entourage Technology Solutions, Camara de Comercio Canadiense Venezolana, College Edouard Montpetit, United Way, and the Canadian Institute for International Affairs. Mr. Levesque has been consulting since 2001 and was a partner and the Vice-President of Governance and Leadership at Renaud Foster Management Consultants until 2005. During this time he developed a long list of clients who have been extremely impressed with his breadth of knowledge, his professionalism, his communication abilities and his flexibility to adapt quickly to changing circumstances and difficult situations. Mr. Levesque has proven himself highly adept at leading Boards in corporate governance reviews and improvement, strategy development and change implementation. He holds a B.Sc. (Biology), a B.A.Sc. (Civil Engineering) from the University of Ottawa and an MBA from York University. He is a member of The Institute of Corporate Directors of Canada and the Professional Engineers of Ontario. He is also nearing completion of a program to become an accredited coach through Corporate Coach University. He is fluent in French and English and has a working knowledge of Spanish.
