Canada’s Chartered Directors
The Directors College is pleased to present Canada’s Chartered Directors. The graduates listed below have completed The Chartered Director Program, an intensive individual examination, and have met the other requirements to become a Chartered Director (C.Dir.)
The Directors College and the Collège des administrateurs de sociétés (CAS) of Université Laval have a reciprocal agreement, whereby their respective designations – Chartered Director (C.Dir.) and Administrateur de sociétés certifié (ASC) are recognized as equivalent.

Ms. Anju Virmani, C.Dir.
Chief Information Officer, Cargojet Canada Ltd.

Ms Anju Virmani is the Chief Information Officer of Cargojet Canada since 2001. Cargojet is Canada's Cargo Airline, serving the country with an overnight network of Cargo Operations. In her role as the CIO, Anju is responsible for all area of technology, aligning the Corporate Strategy of the organization with the IT strategy. Prior to this Anju were the founder and CEO of an ERP consulting company Bizness Matters Inc based out of California. She was also the founder and CEO of The SAPlementation Group, an SAP consulting company.
Ms Virmani has been adviser and consultant in Information Technology for more than 20 years in Canada and USA.
Among other community involvements, Ms Virmani serves on the board of TiE, The Indus Entrepreneurs, a global, non-profit organization of entrepreneurs and professional, that nurtures entrepreneurship through networking, mentoring and knowledge sharing. She also serves on the Trade Committee of the Indo Canada Chamber of Commerce; the Advisory board of Spatialview Inc. Ms Virmani is involved in activities and leadership conferences to bridge the gaps between the India and Canada and to bring the two countries together. She has been part of trade delegations to various countries.
Ms Virmani holds a B.Sc and a B.Ed from the University of Delhi, India and an MBA from Baruch College, City University of New York. She has a keen interest in corporate governance and holds the designation of Charter Director from McMaster University.
