Canada’s Chartered Directors
The Directors College is pleased to present Canada’s Chartered Directors. The graduates listed below have completed The Chartered Director Program, an intensive individual examination, and have met the other requirements to become a Chartered Director (C.Dir.)
The Directors College and the Collège des administrateurs de sociétés (CAS) of Université Laval have a reciprocal agreement, whereby their respective designations – Chartered Director (C.Dir.) and Administrateur de sociétés certifié (ASC) are recognized as equivalent.

Mr. Brian OKeefe, C.Dir.

Brian O'Keefe was appointed to the OMERS Board in February 2004. He was born in Ireland and attended university in the United Kingdon at the London School of Economics where he did an undergraduate degree in economics. He came to Canada in 1975 and attended York University where he completed an M.A. in Sociology.
Brian worked as a social worker with the City of Toronto from 1983 to 1996 when he was elected to the full time position of secretary-treasurer of CUPE Ontario. He currently occupies this position.
He has occupied a number of other positions in CUPE including a vice-president of the National Union and president of the CUPE Toronto District Council.
In the early 1990's Brian represented labour on the Economic Advisory Council for Metro Toronto.
