Canada’s Chartered Directors
The Directors College is pleased to present Canada’s Chartered Directors. The graduates listed below have completed The Chartered Director Program, an intensive individual examination, and have met the other requirements to become a Chartered Director (C.Dir.)
The Directors College and the Collège des administrateurs de sociétés (CAS) of Université Laval have a reciprocal agreement, whereby their respective designations – Chartered Director (C.Dir.) and Administrateur de sociétés certifié (ASC) are recognized as equivalent.

Mr. Bernard Mercier, C.Dir.
President, Solution Pause Pro. (SPP Inc)

Born in Montreal, with over 30 years of executive management experience, Bernard is currently the President of family own business.
He was recently owner/CEO of GSE World Corp (manufactor of airport equipment). He just finished his mandate as Chairman of Groupe Mercator Transport (GMT on TSX-V) Bernard held many international positions
including: CEO of Servisair - Globe Ground (2003 –2005, part of a publicly traded company with over 800 millions Euros of Revenue and 18,000 employees worldwide) based in the UK; and Regional Vice President Southern Europe & Africa and Managing Director FedEx (1989 to 2003), based in Montreal, Brussels and Paris. Bernard has the ability to turn around difficult business situations and bring them to sustainable profitable growth while dealing with diversity in Management Cultures. Back in Canada since April 2005, he is currently active on tow boards and owns a family business since July 2005.
