Canada’s Chartered Directors
The Directors College is pleased to present Canada’s Chartered Directors. The graduates listed below have completed The Chartered Director Program, an intensive individual examination, and have met the other requirements to become a Chartered Director (C.Dir.)
The Directors College and the Collège des administrateurs de sociétés (CAS) of Université Laval have a reciprocal agreement, whereby their respective designations – Chartered Director (C.Dir.) and Administrateur de sociétés certifié (ASC) are recognized as equivalent.

C.Dir. Graduates
Mr. Sanjay Kulkarni, C.Dir.
Chief Financial Officer, Etobicoke Ironworks Ltd.

Sanjay Kulkarni is a Chartered Financial Analyst and a Certified Management Accountant. Sanjay is also a Chartered Accountant with honors and a Chartered Secretary from India. He also has a B. Com. Degree from the University of Bombay.
Sanjay takes pride in his C.Dir. designation and he feels that it has given him a new perspective on business in working as a financial executive.
In India, he started his career as a management trainee with Richardson Merrel Inc., an international pharmaceutical company. After that, he joined Tata Electric Companies, a professional and fast-growing group of companies in the business of hydro and thermal electricity generation and transmission. At Tatas, he worked as a Finance Manager, reporting to the General Manager in charge of fourteen divisions of the Company. During his tenure at Tatas, Sanjay gained valuable exposure to the top management dynamics of a business conglomerate.
For sixteen years, Sanjay worked as a CFO for a Canadian export-oriented manufacturing company, based in Ontario. He played a key role as a CFO in the Company's survival during challenging times. He was a key member of the management team in strategically transitioning the company into a profitable and dynamic company. He was an effective director of the company for eight years.
At present, Sanjay is an effective member of the executive team at Etobicoke Ironworks Ltd.
