Canada’s Chartered Directors
The Directors College is pleased to present Canada’s Chartered Directors. The graduates listed below have completed The Chartered Director Program, an intensive individual examination, and have met the other requirements to become a Chartered Director (C.Dir.)
The Directors College and the Collège des administrateurs de sociétés (CAS) of Université Laval have a reciprocal agreement, whereby their respective designations – Chartered Director (C.Dir.) and Administrateur de sociétés certifié (ASC) are recognized as equivalent.

Mr. Cam Weldon, C.Dir.
Board Member, OMERS Administration Corporation

Cam Weldon was appointed Treasurer of the City of Toronto in April 2005 and is responsible for Accounting, Procurement, Payroll and Revenue Collection at the City. Prior to his appointment, Mr. Weldon was the City's Director of Accounting Services for two years. Previous to joining the City of Toronto, Mr Weldon was employed with the Regional Municipality of Halton for almost twenty years starting out as internal auditor and progressing to the Director of Accounting & Purchasing Services and Regional Treasurer. He also served as Treasurer of the Region's community housing corporation. Mr. Weldon is a Chartered Accountant and has participated in a number of Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants Public Sector Accounting Board task forces to improve public sector accounting and reporting in Canada. Mr. Weldon is also a member of the Treasurer's Group of the Ontario Municipal Benchmarking Initiative (OMBI's), a group formed by the Chief Administrative Officers of Ontario's largest municipalities, that is dedicated to the development and improvement of municipal performance measures and developing best practices. Mr. Weldon was appointed to the OMERS Board in June 2005. OMERS is one of the largest public pension plans in Canada, with over 360,000 members and $40 billion (Canadian) in assets.
