Canada’s Chartered Directors
The Directors College is pleased to present Canada’s Chartered Directors. The graduates listed below have completed The Chartered Director Program, an intensive individual examination, and have met the other requirements to become a Chartered Director (C.Dir.)
The Directors College and the Collège des administrateurs de sociétés (CAS) of Université Laval have a reciprocal agreement, whereby their respective designations – Chartered Director (C.Dir.) and Administrateur de sociétés certifié (ASC) are recognized as equivalent.

Mr. Ian Ihnatowycz, C.Dir.
President and Chief Executive Officer, Acuity Funds Ltd.

Ian O. Ihnatowycz has over 20 years of experience in the investment industry in Canada. He founded both Acuity Funds Ltd. and Acuity Investment Management Inc. in 1990 and has served as President and Chief Executive Officer of both since their inception. Under his stewardship Acuity Investment Management has grown in assets under administration to over $6.5 billion and in 2003 won the Globe Foundation Capital Markets Award for Sustainable Investment and Banking. Acuity Funds has a current offering of two closed-end investment trusts and 31 mutual and pooled funds distributed nationally by registered financial advisors. Over the years, Mr. Ihnatowycz has served on the boards of numerous not-for-profit and professional organizations and private investment companies. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science from the University of Toronto in 1975 and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Western Ontario in 1982. Mr. Ihnatowycz obtained the Chartered Financial Analyst designation in 1986 and the Chartered Director designation in 2005.
