Canada’s Chartered Directors
The Directors College is pleased to present Canada’s Chartered Directors. The graduates listed below have completed The Chartered Director Program, an intensive individual examination, and have met the other requirements to become a Chartered Director (C.Dir.)
The Directors College and the Collège des administrateurs de sociétés (CAS) of Université Laval have a reciprocal agreement, whereby their respective designations – Chartered Director (C.Dir.) and Administrateur de sociétés certifié (ASC) are recognized as equivalent.

Mr. Francois Tisi, C.Dir.
President, McLean and Dickey LTD.
François Tisi brings a unique set of skills to the leadership in his new role as owner/president of McLean and Dickey Ltd. a General Insurance and Financial Services broker in Orillia, Ontario. Prior to purchasing McLean and Dickey François was the Chief Executive Officer of the Ontario Teachers Insurance Plan. In addition to over 20 years of experience steering OTIP's strategic direction, he is a former OTIP Trustee, an Ontario Teachers' Federation (OTF) Fellow and has ten years of teaching experience in Ontario. As CEO of OTIP, François Tisi provided leadership to the Board of Directors and Board of Trustees in carrying out collective responsibility for the management of all OTIP's business operations. He provided strategic counsel while participating on the Executive Management Team and the Senior Management Team. Mr. Tisi advised and assisted the Senior Management Team to ensure they operated effectively and in accordance with OTIP's mission statement, vision and strategic plan. He was also the Chair of the Board of Directors of OTIP Insurance Brokers Inc. Prior to his 20 years at the helm of OTIP, Mr. Tisi was employed by Ontario's French teachers' affiliate organization: Association des enseignantes et des enseignants franco-ontariens (AEFO), where he specialized in labour relations. While a member of AEFO, he also served on the OTIP Board of Trustees for two years. In addition to being awarded a fellowship from OTF, Mr. Tisi received the Queen's Golden Jubilee Medal for his service to the teaching profession and in March 2006 was awarded by AEFO le Mérite Franco-Ontarien. To complement his teaching certificate, Mr. Tisi has a Bachelor of Arts degree in economics from Laurentian University and a Marketing Specialist Diploma from the University of Western Ontario. In 2003, For the past three years, Mr. Tisi has been a board member on the Centre Canadien de Leadership en Évaluation (CLE) and chairs the Human Resources Committee of that board.
