Canada’s Chartered Directors
The Directors College is pleased to present Canada’s Chartered Directors. The graduates listed below have completed The Chartered Director Program, an intensive individual examination, and have met the other requirements to become a Chartered Director (C.Dir.)
The Directors College and the Collège des administrateurs de sociétés (CAS) of Université Laval have a reciprocal agreement, whereby their respective designations – Chartered Director (C.Dir.) and Administrateur de sociétés certifié (ASC) are recognized as equivalent.

Mr. Michael Roche, C.Dir.
Chief Financial Officer, Toronto Transit Commission

Michael Roche holds the position of Chief Financial Officer at the Toronto Transit Commission. As head of the Finance Department he is responsible for overseeing all financial management functions including budgets, accounting, payroll, costing, accounts payable, and treasury services. Michael joined the TTC in 1983 and gained experience through a series of progressive positions in several areas around the organization including Human Resources, Finance, Information Technology and Property Management before being appointed as CFO in 1997. Michael earned his Certified Management Accounting designation in 1988 and also holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Hons) degree from the University of Toronto. Michael is also a Director of the TTC Pension Fund Society and Treasurer of TTC Insurance Company Ltd.
