Canada’s Chartered Directors
The Directors College is pleased to present Canada’s Chartered Directors. The graduates listed below have completed The Chartered Director Program, an intensive individual examination, and have met the other requirements to become a Chartered Director (C.Dir.)
The Directors College and the Collège des administrateurs de sociétés (CAS) of Université Laval have a reciprocal agreement, whereby their respective designations – Chartered Director (C.Dir.) and Administrateur de sociétés certifié (ASC) are recognized as equivalent.

Mr. Kirk Purdy, C.Dir.
Executive Vice President, Overlord Financial Inc.

Kirk is President of Juno Canada Holdings Ltd., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Overlord Financial Inc. (OFI:TSX-V). Juno is focused on delivering OFI's creative investment products to offshore investors. In his professional career, Kirk has been the Founder, President, CEO, and a Director of Viking Energy Royalty Trust (VKR.UN:TSX) from 1996-2004, the President and General Manager of Manvest Inc. from 1994-1996, and Manager and Member of the Board of Management for Knowlton Realty from 1991-1994. He held various senior analyst and management positions at TransCanada Pipelines Ltd. from 1986-1991, and was employed with Imperial Oil Ltd. from 1978-1986, in engineering, planning and refinery supply assignments. Kirk is currently a Director of Overlord Financial Inc. - a publicly traded asset management company based in Calgary, a Director of Mavrix Fund Management Inc. (MVX:TSX) - a publicly traded fund management firm based in Toronto, and Chairman/Director of MacLeod Resources Ltd. - a private marble quarry with sales worldwide and operations based in Cape Breton. Kirk's current designations and education include: Chartered Director (C.Dir.); The Directors' College, DeGroote School of Management, McMaster University (2005) Diploma in Urban Land Economics; University of British Columbia (1991) Masters in Business Administration (MBA); The Richard Ivey School of Business, University of Western Ontario (1982) Bachelor of Science in Metallurgical Engineering (B.Sc.); Queen's University (1978). Kirk and his wife Barbara have three children. Their family resides near the town of Okotoks, south of Calgary. Kirk is an active golfer, skier, and runner, and an ongoing supporter of the United Way and Strathcona-Tweedsmuir School of Okotoks, Alberta.
