Canada’s Chartered Directors
The Directors College is pleased to present Canada’s Chartered Directors. The graduates listed below have completed The Chartered Director Program, an intensive individual examination, and have met the other requirements to become a Chartered Director (C.Dir.)
The Directors College and the Collège des administrateurs de sociétés (CAS) of Université Laval have a reciprocal agreement, whereby their respective designations – Chartered Director (C.Dir.) and Administrateur de sociétés certifié (ASC) are recognized as equivalent.

Mrs. Elizabeth Manganelli Staite, C.Dir.
Director, Economic Development, Hamilton Health Sciences Corporation
Elizabeth Manganelli is currently President and CEO, Bay Area Health Trust.In this capacity, she has worked to establish a separate corporate entity to initiate and develop programs and services that would benefit by the expertise and experience of an entrepreneurial focused Board of Directors. The Bay Area Health Trust was formed in 2002 with the Hamilton Health Sciences and McMaster University as its beneficiaries. She is was appointed President in October 2006. Prior to the merger of Chedoke-McMaster Hospitals with the Hamilton Civic Hospitals. In previous roles at Hamilton Health Sciences Ms. Manganelli has been responsible for a diverse group of clincial programs at Chedoke-McMaster Hospitals. She later took the lead on a Hamilton Health Sciences project working with Interhealth Canada in international healthcare projects in China and the United Arab Emirates. Ms. Manganelli has been Certified Healthcare Executive with the Canadian College of Health Service Executives, and is an Associate of the American College of Healthcare Executives. She has lectured,and provided work term experiences to undergraduate graduate students from McMaster University, the University of Toronto and the University of Ottawa. She is currently Past Chair of the Board of Idlewyld Long Term Care Facility in Hamilton. Ms. Manganelli received her degree in Physical Education and Master of Business Administration from McMaster University. In 2006, Elizabeth became a Chartered Director, having successfully completed the requirements of the Directors College of McMaster University.
