Canada’s Chartered Directors
The Directors College is pleased to present Canada’s Chartered Directors. The graduates listed below have completed The Chartered Director Program, an intensive individual examination, and have met the other requirements to become a Chartered Director (C.Dir.)
The Directors College and the Collège des administrateurs de sociétés (CAS) of Université Laval have a reciprocal agreement, whereby their respective designations – Chartered Director (C.Dir.) and Administrateur de sociétés certifié (ASC) are recognized as equivalent.

Mr. Gary Sherkey, C.Dir.
Group Chief Financial Officer, Diproinduca Canada Limited

Gary Sherkey is currently the Vice-President – Corporate Services, Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer at the IESO.
Before this appointment, Mr. Sherkey was Vice-President – Finance, Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer for the IESO.
Prior to the IESO, Mr. Sherkey was based in Calgary. He is a Chartered Accountant and brings to the IESO many years of progressively responsible senior financial management experience, earned within some of Canada's leading public energy-related corporations. As a key member of senior management, he has expertise in developing and planning the goals, objectives and strategies for corporations and has a successful track record in executing these plans with discipline.
Additionally, Mr. Sherkey holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Toronto and a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Windsor.
