The Directors College is pleased to present Canada’s Chartered Directors. The graduates listed below have completed The Chartered Director Program, an intensive individual examination, and have met the other requirements to become a Chartered Director (C.Dir.)
The Directors College and the Collège des administrateurs de sociétés (CAS) of Université Laval have a reciprocal agreement, whereby their respective designations – Chartered Director (C.Dir.) and Administrateur de sociétés certifié (ASC) are recognized as equivalent.

Holds a B.A.Sc. (Industrial Engineering) from the University of Toronto (1975), Joint M.B.A./LL.B. from York University/Osgoode Hall Law School (1979), LL.M. (Banking and Financial Services) from Osgoode Hall Law School (1999). Chief Legal Officer for The Canadian Depository for Securities Limited (previously Corporate Secretary for 20 years). Chairman of the Board of the Estonian (Toronto) Credit Union Limited (past three years, Board member for 7 years prior). Fellow of the Canadian Securities Institute, member of the Canadian Bar Association, and member of the Cambridge Club. Corporate executive sponsor for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation Ride for Research (7 years). Secretary of the Canadian Capital Markets Association since inception in 2001 and Chair of Legal and Regulatory Working Group of the CCMA. In past, Chairman of the Production Committee of the Tiered Holding System Project advocating the modernization of Canadian laws relating to securities holding, transfers and pledges, resulting in the enactment of the Securities Transfer Act (Ontario) on January 1, 2007. Venturer Scout leader for the Toronto 250th Scout Troop. Interests include cycling, skiing, canoeing, outdoor adventure, travelling.
